| Mitt Romney - the empty, opportunistic suit that is running for president |
Republican presidential candidate fired off cheap, political shots at the president of the United States even before we learned that United States ambassador to Libya was killed by a mob who attacked the American embassy in Benghazi, Libya yesterday. Romney played the role of an opportunist seeking to exploit a national tragedy. Romney made his statement even before the next of kin of the four embassy employees, including our ambassador Christopher Stephens, were informed of their deaths. See here.
I am ashamed that a soulless, crass, political opportunist like Mitt Romney, who uses the death of a heroic ambassador and three others as an opportunity to score political points, is the face we are showing the world.

You must know by now how much I detest Romney and related parties. Following the story all day long made me feel sick. Hopefully that was the feeling of many and they will see that Romney just needs to go back to one of his many homes and all of his untaxed money!
That is the same way I felt all day, sick about how Romney responded to such a tragic event. He only sees this as a political opportunity. This says a lot about his character.
I still worry a) no one will remember/care
and b) he will still win on fear and emotions.

This is also a fear of mine, that an empty suit like Romney will be elected. I not only have an immediate fear that my Social Security and Medicare will be affected but a fear that he will take us into another unnecessary war like with Iran. It is still possible for Romney to win if the Republican donors who are financing his campaign can stir up enough fear.
