Spain's Got Talent

Hey folks, I don't usually post You Tube videos other than my own but I absolutely have to share this You Tube video with you.  It's from Spain's Got Talent show.  This is the best surprise talent I've seen since Susan Boyle's performance.

Enjoy!

That really was something, Ron, but I do think she missed a trick by not returning at the end of her short act by not returning, if only for a few seconds, to the coloratura with which she opened. It would have rounded it off neatly and left us with a feeling of "Did I hear right or was I dreaming?" But, as you infer, she's quite remarkable.

Ray,
Yes, that would have been perfect had she return to her operatic solo! You really should be in the entertainment business Ray. You know. And they should pay you a LOT!

Aw shucks, Ron - thanks. But what so much passes as 'entertainment' these days, frankly, leaves me cold - most especially pop music, which I largely stopped following about 10 years ago. Anyway, I'm far too old now, next month joining the ranks of the same decade that you currently 'inhabit'. But I'll bear what you say in mind when it all comes round again. :-)

Ron, You made my day! With several weeks of packing up my home I needed to hear something like this! Bill flies in on Tuesday and we leave on the 27th. Still so much to be done. You made me smile!

Ray,
I also largely stopped following pop music back in the 90's. Just didn't make sense to me. I suppose there is some good music out there but I don't understand any of the lyrics. Just seems like a lot of hollering to me. But this woman definitely has talent. I even liked her opera singing!

Her operatic voice is astounding - I was almost disappointed when she got wild....but I loved it.

Ummm... I did not know about this girl. I just watched the first couple of editions more than 15 years ago (actually I am not totally sure if it was the same show). Thanks for the post. Regards. Juan (Madrid).

Jon,
I'm not an opera person but even I can recognize that she has a fantastic operatic voice which is pleasant to listen too. I too was a bit disappointed when she switched to her rock mode but I loved it too!
