The Bloggerpalooza just ended and it was a fabulous success!
I will post more about it tomorrow (or maybe the day after when I recover) but this picture says it all. Blogger friends meet and have a wonderful time!
See if you can identify your favorite blogger in the above photo. Bet you can't.
We all had just a wonderful time today. Fantastic!

You are right, just by the photo, you can tell everybody had a wonderful time. It is so nice to see all those smiling faces together!
Oh, that is just F-A-B, F-U-N and H-O-T!!! So, at long last, the REAL WILD west!
Is your gun aimed purposefully, Ron? (I bet it's not the first time you've had a leg on each shoulder - but from two different 'owners'? Maybe it is.) And, good heavens! Is that really SassyBear in DRAG? Haven't quite got everyone yet but I'm not giving up.
Good job too, from the looks of at least five of this posse, including yourself, that we are not in the days of prohibition!
(Photo puts me in mind of the sleeve of Sergeant Pepper album, trying to identify all the faces.)
Looking forward to hearing much more from you when you can - and seeing the contributions from the others. YIPPPEEE!
I had no doubt that the Bloggerpalooza would be a success. The event was obviously well worth the effort. I enjoyed seeing all the photos, but the wild west photo is an absolute classic (heck, my favorite blogger is holding a six-shooter and I hope he didn't accidentally hurt anyone).
This joyous gathering proves what I've known all along - - bloggers are the greatest people on earth.
it's 5a and I had to get a (non-alcoholic) drink. we ALL felt the love in the room last night at the meet and greet (and drink). it was FABULOUS! :)
Ron,
Glad it went so well. Great photo. Must have taken a while to outfit everyone up. Are those legs about your shoulders real or fake?

Lar
Lar,
Yesterday was Old Time Photo's first day open of this season. We were their first customers! Anne (you remember her, she took out photos last year) was there when we "dropped the bomb" on her. A dozen of us came roaring into Old Time Photo. She was great! It took a while to outfit everyone and yes, those are real legs on my shoulders......of TWO DIFFERENT PERSONS! You should have been there!
Ron
I'm so glad the blogger-palooza was a success! I LOVE the pic .... and I do spot a few bloggers in it. Dr. Spo at the far right looks very dapper indeed. But my favourite is Sean Breen dressed as a saloon dancing girl. Sexy!!
Buddy,
We had a grand time yesterday at that photo session and yes, Sean was the star! Lots of laughter and good will yesterday. Sean is a sweetheart. He should have his own TV show! By the way, he said that was the first time he was in drag. No one believed him. :)
Ron
And you were FABULOUS greeting handing out the name tags and putting your fairy wand on everyone as they entered the dinner at the Inn last night. I knew you would be perfect and you were! It was FABULOUS!
Ron
Jon,
That was some wild session herding those "cats" to get that Wild West photo. Ironically, the photographer took about ten "serious" pictures and at the end she suggest we take a "goofy" picture. Guess what? Everyone LOVED the "goofy" picture best!
You're right, bloggers are the greatest people on earth. We had an absolutely fabulous time. More pictures and video to come. I was exhausted (and buzzed) when I got in last night. Recovering now.
Ron
Ray,
Believe it or not your name came up a couple of times during the "after dinner party" in Cubby's suite. I think Anne Marie mentioned that it would have been wonderful if "Ray was here."
No, that isn't the first time I've had two legs on my shoulders from TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. However, that is the first time on of them has been a woman's leg!
Sergeant Pepper's Band, what a great comparison! We had the best time yesterday. I've been involved in some events in my lifetime but rarely have I ever been involved in one which went as perfect as this one. Lots of laughter and goodwill around, which is what the Bloggerpalooza was about after all, wasn't it?
All great folks Ray. Wish you were here.
Ron
Nadege,
Probably the best party I"ve ever been too in my life and with the best bunch of folks. Good will and laughter abounded. I am so glad I had a chance to experience something like this at least once in my lifetime. I will never forget it. Just wonderful!
Ron
Thanks for that thought, Ron. It means a great deal to me. And thanks also especially to Anne Marie. I'm flattered like hell that I'd have been remembered when there were so many nicer things to think about.
Wonderful to hear that it all went so well. Maybe well enough to be doing it again sometime? I can't believe that SassyBear isn't already wanting another opportunity to don a frock and wave his fan about.
Now there are two things (for now) that I want to know:-
Did anyone get absolutely filthily and disgracefully sozzled? (I expect you to name names, Ron!)
And where in the photo is Cubby? Is he the red shirt on the right, face partly obscured? (Yes, got to be, hasn't it?) Oh, what fun!
Confusing establishment; I can't make out any consistent dress code. Fun picture!
It looks like y'all had so much fun! I am seriously jealous....
A classic photo, Ron! You obviously had a great time. I'm so glad it all worked out well and a lot of laughs were shared!
It really was fabulous. I am getting out my thesaurus so I can find enough superlatives to use for my post tonight.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ARRANGING THIS!
Peace <3
Jay
Jay,
Thank you so much for attending our first ever Bloggrpalooza. We really did have a fabulous time. So good to meet all of you.
Ron
Geo,
We were all western desperadoes, can't you tell? :) Jay was the Boss Man and Java Jones and Sassy Bear were the "dance hall girls" which by the way, didn't they make FABULOUS dance hall gals? We had great fun making that picture.
Ron
slugmama,
We had a seriously great time. One of the best ever in my lifetime. Lots and lots of laughter.
Ron
Ray,
Yes, that was Cubby in the red. Uh, did anyone get absolutely filthily and disgracefully sloshed? I'll never tell. I'll leave that up to those involved. But I can say that there were some, shall we say "liberties" taken. Hmmmm. And Sassy Bear was a hoot. What a great guy!
Ron
Paul,
I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful time we had. Probably the best party with the best people I've ever had in my life, that's just how good it was.
Ron
:-) Nothing more to be said, Ron - 'cept thank YOU for helping make this such a success and for giving those of us unable to join in such a thrill reading about and seeing it.
Some of the attendees made comments above, but mostly it was those who were not able to come and were missed. This post was too soon, and most of the attendees were either too busy or too tired to comment yet! Lots more posts and comments to come.
