Second Bluebird Batch

First thing I did when I got home from work at the hotel was to check my bluebird house to see if those eggs hatched. They did! This is the second batch this season. Last year the bluebirds used the same box to raise two batches of bluebirds. I'm very proud that I provided a safe nesting place for one pair of our native bluebirds. My father used to do this for years until he died in August of 2000. I have picked up where he left off. He would have liked that.
