| The new happily married couple at the Georgetown Delaware Circle November 4, 2025 |
We did it folks!
I am no longer a widower.
I have a new husband and his name is Pat. He is a Canadian. Actually half American. His mother was born in Michigan.
We had a quiet little civil ceremony at the Sussex County Courthouse in Georgetown, Delaware at about 9:45 AM. We were scheduled to get married at 10 AM but we arrived early and they took us!
Our witnesses were two Sussex County employees. We deliberately kept our ceremony low key. Didn't even cost me anything because I am a veteran and Delaware treats veterans very well. Our only other witness was Maya from Yesteryear's Old Time photos who took a video of our wedding which I will post later when I receive it.
Since then we've been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.
I'll catch you all up later but did want to let you all know the deed has been done.
Have a great day. We are!

Thank you so much Ray. Yes, Pat and I are now officially "one." And we are in more ways than one, no pun intended. We're so much alike. We are a match. Some adjustments still have to be made though but they're minor. The important thing is that we're together.
Ron
Thank. you Elle. Yes, Pat and I do "deserve" each other. Being funny here. We're a good match. Much happiness awaits us.
Ron
Thank you B-Kat. We're both embarking on our last chapter. What a way to go!
Ron
Thank you Walter. Adventures await me and Pat. He just left for his home in Canada after a two week stay. I'm trying to catch up now.
Ron
michb,
Thank you!
Ron
Vic,
Registered? Are you kidding me? We're very low key. Just the way we wanted it. Pat's back home in Canada now. However, he will be coming back in a few months. He was here for almost two weeks. That took some adjusting on my part to having someone in the house but it was all good. We got a lot done plus a little private time. I just love that little guy to death!
Ron
Ivy,
Thank you so much. Just catching up here at home now after our wedding and his thirteen day stay. He'll be back in a few months. It's different and taking some adjustment to living with somebody again. It's all good though.
Ron
Thank you Walt. Much appreciated!
Ron
Thanks Jardley!
Ron
Kent,
Sort of anti-climatic now that we're actually married. It hasn't totally sunk in yet that I'm no longer a widower but a twice married man. Never in a million years would I have believe this when I was a teenager and the only "different" person in the world. And thanks for the compliment. I find Pat very attractive. Even after all these years (12) he still turns me on like no body else does.
Ron
Thank you Spo! You know Pat. I have hit the lottery!
Ron
"Tommy",
Don't you know it! Pat and I are a match. A few adjustments have to be made but that's with any relationship. The important thing is that we're together now. Forever. I couldn't ask for a better man to be my spouse. He is an angel. A hot angel.Turns me on like no one else.
Ron
joonasn,
Yes, finally! Actually it felt anti climatic when we got married. But it's for real. I'm loving it. Thanks for the good wishes.
Ron
Thank you Jersey Girl! All good wishes accepted here!
Ron
Congratulations! Sorry about being late to the party, but I just read your comment on Dr. Spo's blog.
You are one of the few fortunate ones to have found the right husband twice in a lifetime. Wishing you good health and grand adventures together.
Now, with that great good fortune, go out and buy just one Lotto ticket.
Will Jay
