As I awoke this morning, I heard a steady rain falling. It must be Election Day. After a long, long campaign, it is finally time to vote for the next president of the United States of America. I am very excited. Today we are witnessing history. Today the majority of voters will reject the failed policies of George W. Bush and his administration. Today the voters will reject the negative and divisive campaign of John McCain and Sarah Palin. Today this country will elect a president who will affirm that I am no longer a second class citizen just because of my sexual orientation. Today this country will elect Barack Obama as President of the United States of America.
