I Love Mexican Food!

While Pat was down here the last couple of weeks, we explore new restaurants in the area. We found a new favorite Mexican restaurant. It is called Sol Azeteca and it is located in Georgetown, Delaware.

Georgetown is the county seat of Sussex County Delaware. Pat and I were married in Georgetown last November. Bill and I were also married in Georgetown in July of 2013.

Georgetown is heavily Hispanic thus the profusion of Mexican restaurants. I do love me some Mexican food. Not too hot but just on the spicy side. I especially liked their frozen lime Margaritas. And even better, they only cost $8. Other restaurants charge $13 and they aren't even as big as the Margaritas I get at Sol Azeteca.

Pat, the vegan that he is, ordered the grilled veggies. Oh they smelled so good. I may order them the next time. We ate at Sol Azeteca three times. All three times I ordered the same entree, Chile Rellenos.

A vegan dish which tastes vaguely reminiscent of Eggplant Parmesan. The main ingredient is a big Chile pepper (not hot). Has a stem which I don't eat. It's enough for two and occasionally three meals which I have done.

Before Bill died, Pat and I used to get together four times a year for trips. Now that I can no longer travel and my household income is cut in half, our "holidays" are here at Casa Tipton-Kelly. I save on transportation and housing accommodations but we continue to eat out almost every night. I love it.

Have a great day everyone!

Pat's Visit

This time next week my Canadian husband will be here at Casa Tipton-Kelly.

I am so looking forward to his visit.

Pat will be here for thirteen days.

We have a lot planned to do, including a visit to my hometown in Pennsylvania.

The last time Pat was here I was hurting too much to make any trips. Hopefully this time I don't encounter that problem with my legs.

We have a lot to do, including completing his Petition for Alien Relative form too file with the U.S.C.I.S. What a pain that is. I hope to complete that form after I finish typing this blog entry. I've been putting it off too long.

I would like to visit our friend Don in Philadelphia and of course visit that wonderful city of Philadelphia which we both love. I also want to visit my cousin Barbara with whom I've grown closer too after she lost her brother with whom she was caregiving for. And of course I always like visiting my hometown of Downingtown. I probably won't be visiting my MAGA brother. I don't need that negativity in the short time I have left.

Of course the thing I'm looking forward to the most is just spending time with Pat. We're very compatible in so many way. I had a scare last night when I couldn't get in touch with him. He had left his iPhone in his bathroom and thus wasn't aware that I was trying to call him on FaceTime. By not being about to get in touch with him reminded me how much I need him in my life right now. I have acquaintances, neighbors and friends (fewer each year due to deaths) but no close friend. I can't imagine my life without Pat in it. I still miss Big and great deal and look forward to rejoining him in the Afterlife but for whatever time I have left now, I need Pat and our closeness. I just can't imagine being one of those old people who have no one close in their life as they head towards the Exit Door.

Now to complete that form USCIS Form I-130, Petition of Alien Relative.

Have a great day everyone!
