Well, I think it's pretty well agreed upon, even by the staunchest Trump supporter that Kamala Harris won The Debate last night.
Will her win change any of the Trump supporters to suddenly switch from Trump to Kamala? Are you kidding? NO WAY! But perhaps enough of the Undecided Voter will now realize what an incompetent buffoon Trump is and should be no where near the nuclear codes and now vote for the Democratic nominees Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for president and vice president. Kamala totally dominated the Buffoon who is the Republican nominee for president. On to the Vice Presidential Debate now! We don't need another Debate with Trump. He's finished.
So what else is going on in my life you all might ask. Well, maybe not but I'm going to tell you anyway.

| Provincetown Commercial Street September 1979 |
As you'll notice I have a new background photo on my blog. This one I came across while searching for photo of an old boyfriend I had forty-five years ago. Yes, that long ago.
This was the summer of 1979. We went on a week long trip to Provincetown, Mass. Our relationship ended badly, which was as it should be. Coincidentally he contacted me a few weeks ago. He now lives nearby in Rehoboth Beach. He suggested that we should meet and discuss "old times." Well, maybe. That's to be determined. As I said, the relationship ended badly and for me, I haven't forgotten what he did during that trip. I've written about it in several of my past blog postings so I won't rehash that experience. But it was a valuable learning experience for me and for that I have him to thank. The photo I've posted here is one I took of the main street in Provincetown during our stay in the summer of 1979, the height of the popularity of Provincetown when a gay person could feel free to walk around town without disproving stares of straight folk. Oh those were the days, that I could feel totally free without the omnipresent of homophobia pressuring down on me every waking hour. Just once I would like to visit Provincetown again before I exit this incarnation of my earthly visit. Of course I'll drag Pat along and he will stay with me on this vacation unlike my "boyfriend" of forty-five years ago.
Summer is coming to an end. I can feel Fall in the air. Still not a day goes by that I don't miss Bill. I wish I could say I'm getting on with my grief but this is slow going folks. I'm still grieving but my grief has shifted. I'm surprised that perhaps the one thing I miss the most is caring for Bill. I liked caring for Bill. He depended on me so much. I am so thankful that I could provide a safe and comfortable home for him all the years we were together. That he's no longer under my care, I feel that I have abandoned him. But then I realize that he really is in a much better place now because he is in Heaven. I am convinced that eventually we will be together again. That's what keeps me going folks.
All the political drama and old boyfriends who betrayed me can keep causing drama in my everyday life but I know, I KNOW, that Bill and I will be absolutely together again. And if all this reincarnation stuff is true, perhaps we will again get to live another life together. That to me folks, is Heaven.
