Thirteen years ago I met this goofy little Canadian in the Hotel Blue parking lot in Lewes Delaware.
Today he is my husband.
He always makes me smile.
I am the luckiest man in the world.

Actually I was looking for Pat my whole life. I just sort of fell into a relationship with Bill and of course over time came to love him so much. But when I started out at twenty-one years old I was looking for the "Pat type". Physically and personality. I always knew I would eventually meet him. But as I got older I had put that "meeting" in the back of my mind. Then when I saw him in that parking lot thirteen years ago, I knew. He was The One. Interesting how life works out isn't it?
