The last of the nineteen traitors who attempted to steal the electoral votes of George for former president Trump had their mug shots taken and published this week.
Of course at the top of the list of this now accused criminals who were indicted and processed into the Atlanta Georgia Fulton County Prison system this week was former president Donald Trump. A man who has been getting away with breaking the law his entire life. That ended this week when he was processed into the Fulton County prison system. Oh sure, he flew into Atlanta on a jet with his name emblazoned on the side of the plane. And had a forty motor cycle escorted brigade bring is 6'3". 215 lb. (LOL!) his sorry fat ass into Atlanta to be processed into the prison as a common criminal, which is of course what he is.
Look at his mug shot. How long do you think he practiced in his "Mirror, mirror who is the fairest in the land?" to get The Look. Sort of like the "Blue Steel" look of Ben Stiller of "Zoolander".

I guess Trump thought this look was to intimidate judges, prosecutors and witnesses. Trump may be successful in intimidating some but I am confident that justice will eventually prevail and this lifetime criminal who attempted to nullify my vote by stealing an election he clearly lost to Joe Biden, will spend the rest of his corrupt life behind bars and away from society.

I've always been fascinated by the Vichy government of World War II France. This was the traitor French government who collaborated with the Nazi Germans to rule France during World War II. "Who were these people?" I often thought. "They live among us."
Other countries during World War II who were conquered the the Axis (Germany, Italy, Japan) also worked with the collaborators in those conquered countries. The name "Quisling" is an adjective for a collaborator.
Vidkun Quisling was a Norwegian army officer who in 1933 founded Norway's fascist party. In December 1939, he met with Adolf Hitler and urged him to occupy Norway. Following the German invasion of April 1940, Quisling served as a figurehead in the puppet government set up by the German occupation forces, and his linguistic fate was sealed. Before the end of 1940, quisling was being used generically in English to refer to any traitor. Winston Churchill, George Orwell, and H. G. Wells used it in their wartime writings. Quisling lived to see his name thus immortalized, but not much longer. He was executed for treason soon after the liberation of Norway in 1945.
I was born 1941, one month before America's entry into World War II. I grew up naively believing the propaganda that America was "exceptional". We weren't like those other countries. We didn't have traitors living among us. Oh Ron, how naive you were.
And there is this other thing that always bothered me. Even see a photo of a lynching of a black man (or woman)?

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
Well folks, they live among us.
They always have and always will.
Even if those two men who were lynched were guilty of the crimes they were accused of, we have justice system to address the crime they were accused of. One doesn't take the law into their own hands.
If Trump and his fellow traitorous collaborators had a problem with the Georgia election, there is and was a lawful way to contest the election. Trump and his lawyers did that, over sixty time and lost every court case except one (on a technicality). In Georgia they recounted the one THREE TIMES, the last time by hand. TRUMP STILL LOST.
So what does Trump and his enablers do? They attempt to steal the lawful election by intimidation and force (January 6th).
There are probably still a lot of things I'm naive about but one thing I am no longer and that is that there is a certain segment of our population that is all too willing to forego our laws and cheat by threats and violence.
THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM OUR LAWFUL SOCIIETY BY BEING CONVICTED AND PUT IN JAIL.

And one more thing, which sickened me to my stomach. Anybody watch the first Republican Debate earlier this week? Did you see where SIX of the Republican candidates raised their hand that THEY WOULD STILL VOTE FOR TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT EVEN IF HE IS CONVICTED OF A CRIME.
My heart sank when I saw those traitors raise their hands in support of the Criminal Trump. What feckless, self serving cowards they are! What hypocrites! And then standing under the sign "Democracy!" They are literally voting for a thug dictator. Liars all!

I have some faint hope that my faith in the justice system in this country is restored if they are held account accountable for their accused crimes.

And the Fu**ing smile on some of their faces like this is a big joke to them. I hope they all go down in a fiery billow of brimstone and smoke. I want to see that orange bastard locked up and left to rot. He didn't create the hate in this country, but he unlocked the door and invited it into our homes and public spaces. He has more blood on his hands than any jail sentence could ever remedy.

You're exactly right, The Criminal Trump didn't create the hate in this country, it's always been there just below the surface. He gave that hate a permission slip to come out in the open with his (I hate to say this) charisma and talent for showmanship and relationing to the "average" person (he speaks "their language"). Proof that the hate was and is always there is by the many who enabled him and continue to enable him. Regular people don't believe this but once that hate is out in the open and accepted as normal, then they come after us, LGBTQ. It is exactly what Pastor Niemoller said during the Nazi rise to power:

You said it so beautifully and @sassybear comment and your response is on point.
I heard it said today on one of the morning shows that it is going to take someone on the Republican side to start the exodus and ramp up the need to separate from Trump even more. This is not who we are. The Ramaswamy guy should be locked in a room and the key is thrown away. His rhetoric is dangerous and reminds me of all the hate speech going on in Germany before and during WWII. What is so sad is folks are going to fall for it hook line and sinker. What is ironic about Ramaswamy is that he comes from India, is an immigrant, and his parents are high achievers. "His father, V. Ganapathy Ramaswamy, a graduate of the National Institute of Technology Calicut, worked as an engineer and patent attorney for General Electric, while his mother, Geetha Ramaswamy, a graduate of the Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, worked as a geriatric psychiatrist." Wikipedia Here is a man born in the US, with immigrant parents, born into parents' wealth and made his own, highly educated, and is biting the hand that feeds him. I'll let others opine on his character.

Let's discuss lynching--
"For many African Americans growing up in the South in the 19th and 20th centuries, the threat of lynching was commonplace. The popular image of an angry white mob stringing a black man up to a tree is only half the story. Lynching, an act of terror meant to spread fear among blacks, served the broad social purpose of maintaining white supremacy in the economic, social, and political spheres.
Author Richard Wright, who was born near Natchez in southwest Mississippi, knew of two men who were lynched—his step-uncle and the brother of a neighborhood friend. In his book Black Boy, he wrote: "The things that influenced my conduct as a Negro did not have to happen to me directly; I needed but to hear of them to feel their full effects in the deepest layers of my consciousness. Indeed, the white brutality that I had not seen was a more effective control of my behavior than that which I knew."
Although the practice of lynching had existed since before slavery, it gained momentum during Reconstruction, when viable black towns sprang up across the South and African Americans began to make political and economic inroads by registering to vote, establishing businesses, and running for public office. Many whites—landowners and poor whites—felt threatened by this rise in black prominence. Foremost on their minds was a fear of sex between the races. Some whites espoused the idea that black men were sexual predators and wanted integration in order to be with white women.
Lynchings were frequently committed with the most flagrant public display. Like executions by guillotine in medieval times, lynchings were often advertised in newspapers and drew large crowds of white families. They were a kind of vigilantism where Southern white men saw themselves as protectors of their way of life and their white women. By the early 20th century, the writer Mark Twain had a name for it: the United States of Lyncherdom.
Lynchings were covered in local newspapers with headlines spelling out the horrific details. Photos of victims, with exultant white observers posed next to them, were taken for distribution in newspapers or on postcards. Body parts, including genitalia, were sometimes distributed to spectators or put on public display. Most infractions were for petty crimes, like theft, but the biggest one of all was looking at or associating with white women. Many victims were black businessmen or black men who refused to back down from a fight. Headlines such as the following were not uncommon:
"Five White Men Take Negro Into Woods; Kill Him: Had Been Charged with Associating with White Women" went over The Associated Press wires about a lynching in Shreveport, Louisiana.
"Negro Is Slain By Texas Posse: Victim's Heart Removed After His Capture By Armed Men" was published in The New York World-Telegram on December 8, 1933.
"Negro and White Scuffle; Negro Is Jailed, Lynched" was published in the Atlanta Constitution on July 6, 1933.
Newspapers even printed that prominent white citizens in local towns attended lynchings, and often published victory pictures -- smiling crowds, many with children in tow -- standing next to the corpse.
In the South, an estimated two or three blacks were lynched each week in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In Mississippi alone, 500 blacks were lynched from the 1800s to 1955. Nationwide, the figure climbed to nearly 5,000.

Although rape is often cited as a rationale, statistics now show that only about one-fourth of lynchings from 1880 to 1930 were prompted by an accusation of rape. In fact, most victims of lynching were political activists, labor organizers or black men and women who violated white expectations of black deference, and were deemed "uppity" or "insolent." Though most victims were black men, women were by no means exempt.
According to black journalist and editor Ida B. Wells, who launched a fierce anti-lynching campaign in the 1890s, the lynching of successful black people was a means of subordinating potential black economic competitors. She also argued that consensual sex between black men and white women, while forbidden, was widespread. Thus lynching was also a means of imposing order on white women's sexuality. Wells, who would later help found the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, was forced to flee Memphis after her offices were torched.
With lynching as a violent backdrop in the South, Jim Crow as the law of the land, and the poverty of the sharecropper system, blacks had no recourse. This triage of repression ensured blacks would remain impoverished, endangered, and without rights or hope. Whites could accuse at will and rarely was a white punished for a crime committed against a black. Even for those whites who were opposed to lynching, there was not much they could do. If there was an investigation, white citizens closed ranks to protect their own, and rarely were mob leaders identified.
Violence against blacks would taper off during the Second World War and rise again after the passage of the Supreme Court's Brown v. Board of Education decision that nullified the country's separate but equal doctrine. Armed with hope, blacks began to register and organize people to vote. Local NAACP chapters began sprouting up in small towns.
When Emmett Till was murdered, the head of the NAACP, Roy Wilkins, lambasted Mississippi and called Emmett's murder a lynching. "It would appear from this lynching that the State of Mississippi has decided to maintain white supremacy by murdering children."
The brutal slaying of a 14-year-old boy was shocking, and when the killers later confessed to the crime in an article published in Look magazine, African Americans and others who supported civil liberties realized they would have to organize en masse and risk their lives in order to bring change."

In this country the mantra is often repeated "No man is above the law" but we all know that is not true. If you're white, in a position of power and have money, those folks often escape accountability for their crimes. God forbid if you're poor, no influential friends, you're screwed. Reality Winner received FIVE years for absconding with ONE document with good intentions to prove that the government was lying. And then there was that black women who mistakenly voted when she wasn't registered, again FIVE years. Trump? He spends his whole adult life disregarding the laws that apply to the rest of us and gets away with it and probably continues to get away with it no matter how much the mantra "No man is above the law" is foisted upon us, The Great Unwashed. Maybe, just maybe this time this vile person will be held accountable for his lifetime of criminality.
