Backlogged

via GIPHY

Sorry folks, I'm so backlogged with things to do this Christmas season that I'm not able to update my blog. I don't know whether it is that I have more to do or that I'm just slowing down. I suspect it's a combination of both. One thing I do know is that I'm losing ground in keeping up.  I feel like that hamster in a wheel.

Now to get back to those Christmas cards.

Understood, Ron - but 'ouch', I've only just written in my latest blog posting about a hamster in a cage coming to an unfortunate end in a needless act of cruelty, so my emotions are a little raw in that direction. But, of course, you weren't to know (and why should you, anyway) - and I didn't have to look!

Ron, when I saw that hamster I thought it was me!
I always assumed that as I got older life would be easier. Not a chance! The older I get, the less time I seem to have - - and my problems have multiplied. My entire existence is backlogged...

Is that Bill on the bottom? Since I only celebrate my anniversary, I generally stay away from stores and malls this time of year. Sometimes I forget and wonder why everything is so stinking crowded! Time does go by faster as we age. It was just June, dagnabit, and now we are almost into the new year. I so wanted to enjoy the gloom this year, sigh. Anyway, take your time and breathe. We'll be here when you're ready.

Ron,

I know I am slowing down.

Ron - slow down happens after holidays. And Christmas carries some stress with it. But looking forward to my card!!

Pat,
Every year I try not to get caught up in all the holiday stress but it seems this is a futile effort. You're right though, after Christmas everything seems to go into hibernation and slow down, which is just fine with me. Then we go to California!

I'm coming back Deedles, I'm coming back! No, that isn't Bill on the bottom. I try to make life as stress free as possible for Bill. Not having much success with making my life stress free though.

Ray,
Many years ago I got two hamsters. Overnight one of the hamsters killed the other hamster. So much for my "adorable" hamster pets. Never had any again.

The snowy scene picture is lovely. I like snow, but from a distance. We'll have a dry and maybe warm Christmas, as usual. My cards are mostly sent. -need to buy a new batch as I've run out of the old ones.
