Trump is Going To Win

Donald Trump is going to win the Republican nomination for president and he will win the presidency.

Say it again Ron, Donald Trump is going to win.

Get used to it all you folks to dismiss Donald Trump as a clown, sideshow, buffoon, etc., etc.

Mark this date on your calendar folks. You intrepid blogger has made this prediction.

P.S.

I knew Ronald Reagan was going to win too way back in the day when many were dismissing Reagan as "just an actor" and an "airhead."

For those of you who are still in disbelief and aghast at Donald Trump being a serious candidate, get used to it folks.  He's not going away.

So for the rest of the Republican Clown Car, those who are brought and paid for by the big money donors and pumped up by the Washington Beltway Know-It-All Media Elite,
you have been trumped.

  1. You may well turn out to be right, Ron - and who am I to gainsay you? But you're sounding mightily triumphant, and THAT'S the bit that worries me.

    1. Tongue in cheek Ray, tongue in cheek. I love the fact that Trump and his supporters are upsetting the Establishment. Of course now that I hear more from Trump, I think he just blew his chances. Deport eleven million illegal immigrants? Not going to happen. Trump is finally starting to flame out.

    2. Much relieved, Ron (I've also now read your next posting). This was the response I'd hoped for but - and it was a teeny weeny niggling thought - I'd wondered for a mini-second if you were 'on the turn'. :-)

    3. Ray,
I like Trump shaking things up. He's upsetting the usual Know-It-Alls. I think he was just doing his usual Donald Show and this got away from him. I don't think he really wants to be president. He loves attention and he's getting a lot of it now from supporters who are starved for authenticity, no matter how far out his stated beliefs are. And also the fact that he doesn't apologize and poll test all his answers. But he just blew any chances he had of getting elected with his ridiculous "deport all eleven million illegals!".

    4. Sounds much the same as his commitment to build a 'wall' between USA and Mexico (though with 'a door' to allow the 'legals' through). The idea may appeal but it would have to be nearly 2,000 miles. Just 40% of the length of the great wall of China, true, but even so, could it be completed in four, or even eight years? And anyway, wouldn't it mean that more would-be immigrants find a way in by sea? The entire American west and southern coasts can't be policed 24/7, surely? But I'm sure he's got an answer to that too.

    5. Ray,
I don't think Donald Trump really believes half of what he is saying.

Statistically, some GOP'er will win, altho hopefully not the freakshow who seems to be your new hero (I really hope you're just trying to stir the sh*t, here, Ron). Democrats have never held the presidency for more than 2 terms since FDR.

I was brought up to not discuss religion, politics, or money in polite society, so I won't engage in that here. However, if you'd like to really open your eyes, please check out joemygod.com. I'm sure you will be a big hit with the commenters there, too. Or maybe you'd prefer breitbart.com?

    1. You missed the point in my blog. Hillary Clinton will be our next president.

  4. I'll bet you and Bill a dinner at the place of your choice that Trump won't win. He is alienating the very people he wants to woo by his extremism. Which is sad. I'm not sure that if he got elected, he wouldn't be a bad president, as long as he surrounded himself with people who understand things he has ZERO experience with - national defense, foreign policy, national transportation, all that...business savvy will get you only so far in the White House...sadly. If he were a true statesman (and I don't mean politician, that word has EXTREME negative connotations today), he'd be a lot less bellicose and a lot smarter in what he says. All he is doing is inflaming the far, far right. And there aren't enough old, straight, white men left to get him elected.

But I don't totally disagree with you! Which scares the bejeebus out of me!

    Peace <3

  5. Jay,
Of course I was just kidding. Just stirring up the pot a bit more. I do like the fact that Trump is upsetting the incestuous establishment. Hillary will be elected our next president in spite of this ridiculous e-mail "scandal."
