Political Compass

I always wondered where I stood politically.  Kim Ayers, one of my favorite bloggers posted a website to test one's political compass.  It's called "Political Compass."  I took the test and found that I am closer to Ghandi than Hitler.  I would hope so.  Wow.

Anyway, if you want to take the test go here.

The results of my test:

  2. Kim Ayres...Kim AYRES. I think I went to school with an Aryes. That's my story and I'm sticking with it. :)

  3. Ron,

I went to school with a Ray Ayres, in fact were co-writers, co-performers and co-DJs, but that has nothing to do with anything.

Interesting, Ron, I came out almost exactly the same on the chart as you. Perhaps nearer the line above where it joined the line to the right, but pretty darn close.

That is, it says I am minus-one Economic Left/Right and minus-1.44 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian.

I found some questions a bit ambiguous to answer easily. Maybe I will comment on some of these on my Blog.

  4. That's where the name AYRES comes from. I knew it! It was Larry's friend and former classmate, Ray Ayres. I have a mental block on that name for some reason. Of course I am mental but that's beside the point.

I thought we would come out about the same on the political equation Lar. I'm all for throwing the bums out and starting anew. Can't do much worse can we?

  5. I will give this a try; I've been accused of being ultra liberal and ultra conservative at the same time...

  6. Spo, I'm looking forward to your results. I've been accused of the same thing. I'm for the death penalty and for throwing the bums out too.

  8. Sam.

I also found it interesting how far I was into the green. I'm glad to hear that you are too.
