Bloggerama I - The Movie

Well folks, I finally did it.  I put together Mark's great photos and produced an iMovie of the Bloggerama.  I worked all day on this movie.  I am exhausted.  Wiped out.  I'm "movied" out.

Many, many thanks to Mark of "Our Simple Lives..." for his outstanding, mood capturing photographs.

Mark - friend and photographer extraordinaire

Enjoy!

Very impressive! Mark's photos are excellent. Nice editing and music selection on your part.

I loved that Dazz Band song. I never would have guessed, you funky devil you.

Awesome!! I wish we could have made it... looks like a blast!!! Hugz to all of you!

It was a herculean task to make this and you obviously put a lot of thought into it. Even though I didn't attend Bloggerpalooza, I enjoyed the photos.

Oh my! Such wonderful expressions, Ron. Arrivals, hosts, greetings, adventures --smiles of relief, nervousness, slight snockeredness to joy and, as predicted in Donna Summer's lyrics, love. And that was what, "Tijuana Taxi" winding it up? I could be mistaken, but not about the impression of sheer fun you masterfully conveyed through video. Clean, excellent work!

yeah, I know I am chatty cathy this morning. so how does one go about obtaining a copy of this oscar-worthy performance?

Cubby said...

Well done, Ron. I watched 7 min. this morning, and will have to watch the rest after work. Thanks for this!

Ron said...

And thank you Cubby for coming up with the idea of asking Dr. Spo to visit us in the East. We'll do it again next year, bigger and better!

Anne Marie,

I will copy this iMovie to a DVD and send it to all the attendees. I just have to get a proper cover first. No rubbish DVD cover for us.

NO I DON'T! I looked in vain and couldn't find ONE photo. Anne Marie, you naughty girl!

Anne Marie,

So glad you and hubby came to the Bloggerama. I'm counting on you to be there next year again. Ice tea for your girl.

Geo.,

Mark has such a talent for capturing The Moment in pictures. All of these pictures were ones that he took. Nope, the last song wasn't "Tijuana Taxi" but it was by the Tijuana Brass.

I'm glad I was about to convey the sheer fun through the iMovie that we enjoyed throughout the Bloggerama weekend. Everything went perfect. The stars must have been aligned.

Now we are looking forward to your presence next year. The dates of Bloggrama II are April 10th, 11th and 12th. Be there or be square.

Kelly,

Definitely come next year to Bloggerama II. Why should we have all the fun? The dates are April 10th, 11th and 12th. You can stay at the hotel or with friends or wherever but do come!

Sean,

See there, we had two married couple at our Bloggerama. They're still married. You and Laurel are invited for next year's Bloggerama II. The dates are April 10th, 11th and 12th. I think you'll find that both of you will have a wonderful time. It's all good, clean fun among friends, straight or gay.

yeah, we are not rubbish!

This is marvellous beyond all words, Ron. When I saw this morning that you'd posted it I thought I'd rather wait until I could watch it uninterrupted and without distractions which, eight hours later, I've now done, and managed to get through despite my creaky computer's attempts to sabotage my viewing by constantly freezing it. But thank you, thank you, thank you! Your time effort and sweat is well appreciated on these shores.

Incidentally (and I'm only owning up to this because I've got a glass and a half of red inside me) I do find a certain individual in these pics particularly hot. Whether this same person would think the same of me 'in the flesh' is open to conjecture. But, failing the presence of several of Sassybear's speciality cosmos, I must 'keep mum' for fear of creating dissension between this person and partner - if any - and anyway, it's not my style to put my 'oar' in where it's not wanted.. But I SHALL leave a clue. Although very nice, I'm sure, I am NOT referring to the young lady serving in the costume shop.

Thanks again for making an oldish man very happy.

anne marie in philly said...

and you would not be referring to myself or java either. as much as you like ladies, you don't LIKE ladies in that manner.

wonder if it is my spouse you are liking? ;-)

A labor of love Jay but I couldn't have done it without Mark's impressive photos.

Dr. Spo,

Much of the credit goes to Mark. All the photos (except one really bad one of me) are in this iMovie. Glad you enjoyed it.

Very cryptic Ray, very cryptic.

Raybeard said...

Ron, I only wish it was possible to delete one para of what I said and leave the rest - but now that it's done I'll leave the riddle hanging in the air.

A.M. - Now don't tempt me to say any more, otherwise I'm a-gonna find myself in even deeper doo-doo!

Ron said...

Ray,

I think I know who you're talking about...."the man of steel?" :)

Ron

Ron said...

And the other possibility Ray is...........a man whose first name starts with "J"....hmmmm? Now that you've whetted our curiosity we're not letting up. :)

Raybeard said...

Damn! I've really done it now. If I say "no" to any particular name then it narrows down the possibilities and feeds into the 'game' you're playing - and I'm hardly likely to give it all away by saying "yes" to anyone. I can only count on you getting tired first. (Hope you're yawning now.)

Ron,

Having done a few of these I know how much effort it takes. I'm not sure many can appreciate the time you had to put into doing such a seamless presentation; a beautiful job!

Of course, sometimes it looked like a Hawaiian Shirt salesman convention. :)

Larry,
I think you're the only person who knows how much work I put into making this iMovie. I could've fine tuned it more but
I was exhausted. I had enough of playing and replaying it over and over. I guess I'll never be another Steven Spielberg.
